There was a time when BER airport was just a construction site. For a long time. I mean, for a really long time. Please don’t mention this to anyone, ever. Haha. Personally, I used this time to visit the area often. Sometimes, I took advantage of the roads leading to the airport to drive a little faster than usual 😉 or, as in this case, to do a photo shoot and explore the now-busy area. To be honest, it felt quite strange to see an empty airport building because it’s usually one of the most crowded places.

I definitely have a love for airports because they are – once operational – full of potential, people from all over the world, dreams, losses, memories, and so much more. Whenever I am at the airport, I get super excited, especially because I love take-offs so much and because I get to do one of my favorite things: traveling.

These pictures are my memory of the BER construction site. It also served as a really cool location for a photo shoot. I hope you like them.
